Use Oils For Your Heel

First, soak your feet in soapy water and rub your feet with a pumice stone. Then wash your feet and dry them well. Apply plenty of oil to your heel and soles.

Rose Water and Glycerine

To make the peeling, mix a few teaspoons of honey and apple cider vinegar and a handful of rice flour into a thick paste. If cracking in your heels is extremely bad, add a tablespoon of olive oil or sweet almond oil.

Soak your feet in warm water for 10 minutes, and then gently rub them with rice flour paste. Repeat the procedure several times a week until you are satisfied with the results.


Curcumin in turmeric acts as an effective pain reliever. It also softens the connective tissue of the foot, allowing you to recover more quickly. To do this, drink one teaspoon of turmeric powder in 1 cup of milk before going to bed at night.

Allow it to cool until a thin layer forms on top. Now, dip your feet into the mixture, wait 5 to 10 seconds, remove and dip again. Do this several times. Cover your feet with a stretch and leave for 30 minutes before removing.

Repeat the method once or twice a week. Make sure not to dip your feet into the paraffin mixture while it is hot. Do not use this method if you are diabetic or have circulatory disorders.


You can use vaseline to prevent heel cracking and to soften and moisturize your feet. This is one of the most heard ways. After soaking your feet in warm water, brush your heels to remove hardened dead skin, and then apply vaseline to the entire heel area.

You can also apply vaseline by mixing a teaspoon of lemon juice. Wear socks on your feet, so petroleum jelly will penetrate the skin more easily. For best results, do it daily before bedtime.

At the first sign of heel crack, try these natural methods to soften the skin. Also, moisten your body thoroughly by drinking plenty of water and follow a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

Epsom Salt

It is very important to keep your heels moist. Epsom salt or sea salt will also help improve circulation. Add half a cup of Epsom salt into a bowl filled with warm water and mix.
